This guide will walk you through deploying your first VPS on Hostcore.

Prerequisites

• A Hostcore account (create one here)
• A valid payment method
• An SSH client (for Linux) or RDP client (for Windows)

Deploy Your First VPS

1. Log in to your account

   Navigate to hostcore.cloud and sign in with your credentials.

2. Go to VPS Pricing

   Click on “VPS Hosting” in the navigation menu or visit hostcore.cloud/pricing/vps.

3. Select a plan

   Choose a plan that fits your needs. All plans include:

   • Dual-Socket Intel Xeon processors
   • NVMe SSD storage (RAID-10)
   • 10Gbps network port
   • DDoS protection included

4. Choose your operating system

   Select from our available templates:

   • Linux: Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux
   • Windows: Windows Server 2019, Windows Server 2022

5. Configure billing

   Choose your billing cycle:

   • Monthly
   • Quarterly
   • Semi-Annually
   • Annually

6. Complete payment

   Enter your payment details and complete checkout.

7. Wait for provisioning

   Your server will be ready in under 60 seconds. You’ll receive an email with your login credentials.

What’s Next?

Once your server is deployed:

• Access your dashboard to manage your VPS
• Connect via VNC Console for direct access
• First Login guide for SSH/RDP setup

Example: First SSH Connection

# Replace with your server's IP address
ssh root@your-server-ip

# You'll be prompted for the root password from your email

Pro Tip

We recommend setting up SSH key authentication instead of password login for better security.

Common Issues

Can’t connect to server?

• Verify the IP address is correct
• Check that port 22 (SSH) or 3389 (RDP) is not blocked by your local firewall
• Wait 2-3 minutes after provisioning for the server to fully boot

Forgot your password?

You can reset your root password from the dashboard. See Dashboard guide.
